FORM DPT-3

Initial Return : - Form DPT-3 is the sole form for filing the return of deposits. It is to be filed by every company other than Government Company giving details of outstanding receipt of money/loan taken by the company from 1st April 2014 to 22nd January 2019. It applies to all types of money or debts whether Secured, Unsecured, External, Commercial Borrowings, etc. Furthermore, even if the company has received the loan from the Holding, subsidiary, associate company, it needs to file the FORM DPT-3. The final date of filing this form is 22nd April 2019 i.e. within 90 days from the date of publication of the notification. We will help you in filing the same.

Annual Return : - Form DPT-3 is the sole form for filing the return of deposits. Every company except a government company must file this return. Additionally, as per Rule 1(3) of the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules 2014, the following companies are also exempt:
• Banking company
• Non-Banking Financial Company
• A housing finance company registered with National Housing Bank
• Any other company as notified under proviso to subsection (1) to section 73 of the Act
By giving details of outstanding receipt of money/loan taken by the company as on 31st march of every year. It applies to all types of money or debts whether Secured, Unsecured, External, Commercial Borrowings, etc. Furthermore, even if the company has received the loan from the Holding, subsidiary, associate company, it needs to file the FORM DPT-3. The date of filing this form is 30th June after ending of financial year without additional fees.
